Jason Thompson in Huntsville, AL has expertise in many aspects of web development, from strategy and conceptualization to programming and implementation. Cedar Hills is proficient in numerous programming languages and Internet technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, ASP, PHP, mySQL and Flash. For nearly 4 years Jason worked as the webmaster/website developer for Ducks Unlimited® - ducks.org in Memphis, TN. During his time at Ducks Unlimited® he conceptualized and redesigned the entire organization's website and community sites. This re-development created one of the most dynamic and informative websites in the conservation/outdoor industry, which would later be named "The Nonprofit Times Ranks DU's Web site as one of the "Hottest" in Nation Organization Receives Top Five Billing in Review of more than 200 Web sites."
After leaving Ducks Unlimited® he took a position with another outdoor related company in Memphis called Avery Outdoors® and its sister company Greenhead Gear® where he was in charge of many projects within the marketing/media departments. These responsibilities allowed him to focus on various needs within these two entities marketing departments. The website development for Avery Outdoors® and Greenhead Gear® was invaluable to these companies strategic planning during his time spent with these hunting entities. Website traffic for the above mentioned companies increased 8 to 10 times after he completely redesigned and developed both websites.
Among his other talents Jason is an accomplished graphic designer and marketing strategist. These talents have allowed him to move forward with his own company, Cedar Hills Media & Marketing™. His time spent with some of the largest outdoor related companies has allowed him to build some long lasting friendships and business associates, but more importantly has paved the way for Cedar Hills Media & Marketing that has invaluable experience in the outdoor related community.
